A short timelapse of us in the lab doing the decellurisation process.

Sensory Experiment 1 - Sight and Sound
For this sensory experiment we blindfolded someone and got them to stand in the middle of a dark room. We then told them that someone would walk around the room and say their name. The subject then had to point to where they though we were calling their name from. We then asked them to repeat it once with their right finger in their right ear and again with their left finger in their left ear.
Introduction to Decellularization and dying of biological tissues and organs
In this session we were taught how decellularization works and how it is done, we were also taught about the ways you can create artistic designs out of decellularized tissue. We used decellularized bacon to experiment on. This is good for our group as we are going to be using decellularization for our final project.
Decellurisation
These images are of when we carried out the decellurisation process on the heart. These images are from an iPhone and are therefore not of high quality but I have included them for documentary purposes. I have also added scans of the protocol and code of behaviour in the labs.
